They are Doomed with this tie up especially that GL fella who was worshipping the Pakas’s at one time. He was very actively advising them on many issues during their time and most certainly contributed to the meltdown of the economy too. Can’t understand SJB’s reasoning to get these kinds of people into party when there are heaps of young professionals who will definitely provide valuable advise to bring SL on it’s feet again. The current situation is so very messy and loans plus interest building up by the day. So get professional advice and get moving to set up a “A Team” to take over if elected or just completely close shop and don’t interfere with the other party having some potential to take over the current leadership.

Has the SJB now degenerated into a reception camp for all kinds of failed and questionable politicians who have repeatedly changed their political views and fundamental beliefs!? Mr. Peiris is now a classic representative of this species of human being who, even in Chandrika's time, made personal and political claims to prestige and failed to achieve them! Who takes such a man seriously politically today? Obviously Premadasa, who, the closer the election date comes, is clinging to every straw!!! The acceptance of Peiris and his party friends as political allies of the SJB for dominance among voters shows the weakness of leadership and the lack of substance in this party! Premadasa is dispossessing himself as a presidential candidate!!!
