Sri Lankan rupee has appreciated to Rs.175.82 against the US Dollar when compared with yesterday’s selling rate of Rs. 177.32, the Central Bank said.

Other emerging market currencies are strengthening as well not just the Sri Lankan rupee. I wonder where the Daily Mirror is getting the exchange rates from - they are about three rupees off!
