SLC Case: Harin urges court to recognise him as Sports Minister

Colombo, Nov. 28 (Daily Mirror)- Newly appointed Sports Minister Harin Fernando today moved the Court of Appeal that he be recognised as the Sports Minister in connection with the writ petition filed over the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) interim committee.

Attorney-at-law Dinesh Vidanapathirana appearing on behalf of Minister Harin Fernando moved Court that his client be recognised as the new Minister of Sports.

This petition was fixed for December 5.

how can he answer for any " misdeeds " of the now expelled minister who initiated the interim committee and filed a court action for redress which is pending and he was not even in the cabinet. His responsibility arises with his new duties under the new oath of allegiance in his appointment. As it is the subject has taken diverse turns akin to an amoeba
