The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has decided to extend support to Interim President Ranil Wickremesinghe in the Parliamentary vote on July 20, which will elect a new President.

SLPP General Secretary Sagara Kariyawasam issued this statement to the media a short while ago.
