Thank you very much, this is great news for us hiking enthusiasts and the development of tourism in Sri Lanka. A great opportunity for the rural population who have previously had little contact with tourism. The Pekoe Trail is a beautiful adventure that accompanied me for 300 km. From start to finish I hiked through different landscapes, experienced diverse flora and fauna, and met lovely, curious and interested people. I experienced warm hospitality from locals. I found a home where there was no guest house. I got food where there was no restaurant. I found listeners where people were curious about the world outside.
