Sachitra Senanayake’s house robbed



Colombo, June 24 - Thalangama Police have reported a burglary at the residence of former Sri Lankan cricketer Sachitra Senanayake in Kalalgoda, Pannipitiya.

According to Police, unknown assailants broke into Senanayake's house, making away with several valuable items. Stolen goods included expensive watches, tablet devices, gold items, and a sum of cash.

Police investigations revealed that the perpetrators disabled the security camera system during the break-in. Senanayake, who had been away with his family, returned the following evening to find the electricity turned off and the front door left open.

The Thalangama Police have launched an investigation into the robbery and are working to apprehend the suspects involved.
