Sajith places deposit to contest 2024 presidential election

Colombo, July 31 (Daily Mirror) - Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara placed the deposit on behalf of Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa to contest the Presidential election 2024.

Premadasa becomes the sixth candidate to place deposits for the Presidency.

May you win! You are the best out of the bad lot! RW is too old, AKD's party has a bad/scary history and even now it's extremely disruptive. Everybody else who is contesting is just fooling around and wasting public money!

Agree with you. RW is also backed by the corrupt SLPP, means the system change will never take place if he wins. No Policy Party, AKD is a novice like Gota and will be against restructuring of loss making SOE's that are bleeding the economy. Sajith has a good team, and has done many noble deeds while in opposition, such as installing smart classrooms, donation of buses to schools and donating equipment's /medicines to many hospitals etc. Action speaks louder than empty words.

Although I think Sajith is not very smart , I support him at this time because Ranil is only selling out the country. Sajith's team has got a couple of good guys except Kiriella who defrauded millions from highway projects. With Sajith, the fear of 88 89 comeback still exists but I think he is a better choice now.
