Sajith signs Impeachment Motion and No Confidence Motion

Leader of Opposition Sajith Premadasa today placed his signatures on the Impeachment Motion against President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and the No-Confidence Motion against the government.

The signatures were placed at the Opposition Leader's Office in Colombo in the presence of other SJB MPs. (Yohan Perera)

Statergically it is important to win the no confidence motion against the government first. Otherwise in current situation opposition would never get 2/3 majority for the impeachment. If the government defeated in no confidence motion most of the MPs will jump to winning side. That is the nature of our parliamentarians.
