Sajith still to submit educational certificates to Paliament: Nalinda

Colombo, Dec 19 (Daily Mirror) - Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa has not submitted his educational certificates to Parliament as yet, despite his claims of tabling them in Parliament yesterday, Cabinet spokesman Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa said today.

He told the media briefing to announce Cabinet decisions that they need to study the certificates and make a statement.

Responding to a question, he said the Opposition Leader had not submitted his certificates to Parliament even by this morning (19 December).

That’s not necessary is it? - he has shown the certificates. That’s not needed to be a parliamentarian. If someone wants can cross check with the awarding institution. NPP is doing a good job already, but this is unnecessary.

He is not sure of his own qualifications. How did he go abroad to do studies when there was exchange control at that time when poor villagers children were in our universities

Dear Dr. Nalinda; At least Sajith showed his certificate to all the members of the Parliament. Some of your colleagues have not shown their certificates at all. Most of them have now withdrawn their PhDs, Medical Specialist Claims, and other titles.

It was a waste of time uttering nonsense by Sajith. He acted like showing the school reports to his father and forgotten that he was standing in the Parliament. What a shame of a Opposition Leader to boasting about himself though lot of important issues were there to discussed and take action. We feel purposely he did this nasty act.

Learn the process first Nondi Jayatissa. Also why are you worried about an opposition mps educational matter. They were defeated by people and power given to you guys. Go and check your guys educational qualifications which is questioned by people as many believe they were cheated with fake qualifications shown by npp just to win the election. Check deputy speakers qualifications and also tell us how you worked at ministry sometime back. Which SLFP mp backed you.
