Colombo, Dec. 20 (Daily Mirror)- Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa will be the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Prime Ministerial candidate in the event a snap general election is held, SJB MP Kabir Hashim said today.

"We have already decided and made it known that our leader will lead any election that is held in the future, MP Hashim said responding to a question raised by journalists at a media briefing.

Sajith Premadasa's announcement to forego the presidential candidacy in favor of the best (!) of the SJB would be a wise and intelligent decision and would significantly improve his party's chances of winning! But who is the best who has the format to be a strong president, who is convincing as a person with personality, who can provide leadership in these difficult times and who can take and implement initiatives for a radical change in politics!!!? Of all the candidates that are repeatedly mentioned, only Sarath Fonseka remains, who combines all the skills that a current president needs to solve the country's major problems and lead it into a better future!!!
