School footwear prices to be reduced soon

Colombo, October 2 (Daily Mirror) - The Footware and Leather Goods Industrialists’ Guild (FLGIG) said today that they have decided to reduce the prices of school footwear, including specifications, soon.

Addressing the media, FLGIG chairman Buddika Wimalasiri said in a society that expects demands when a government comes to power, the country's industrialists and developers have been appointed to support the government.

The chairman requested the people to make their contribution by consuming goods made in Sri Lanka.

This is a good decision by an industrialist. If all other businessmen follow him the school children can be helped in other ways too. AKD is trying to do something for all and towards achieving all businessmen must support him
