Seaman shoots himself at Trincomalee navy camp

A seaman attached to the Trincomalee navy camp died yesterday after he shot himself inside the camp, Police said.

The deceased was identified as Anura Nishantha Kumara (36) of Kandy, Polgolla.

The postmortem is to be conducted today.

Police are investigating.
