Sinopec to enter oil refining industry in Sri Lanka

The China based Sinopec Fuel Oil Sales Company Ltd, which have become a major player in local fuel retail market will enter the local oil refining market in October this year, Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera said today.

"The plans for the company to enter into local refining industry will be finalized next month, the Minister added at a Sinopec dealer felicitation ceremony held in Colombo. (Yohan Perera)
