After the police action is over and after those students return to the university, the female student will be in trouble again. Normally the raggers belong to the JVP afliated student union of which majority of students are members. So , poor female student will have a hard time in managing her daily routine in the university hereafter.

Strict action should be taken against students responsible for ragging. Their university education should be terminated or transfered to another university immediately as otherwise they will return to the campus and make life miserable for the girl who was ragged!

Once proven guilty, ensure the most severe sentence since they are adults plus expulsion from the university. Also, bar them from all universities for at least 10years since they are immature! Need to make them an example to ensure this nonsense stops.

If the victim faces further harassment for reporting the ragging that too must be reported. The university rules must be made to have a clause that those who are made suspects in court cases for ragging will have the studentship suspended until the case is completed. If convicted they will be dismissed from the University
