COLOMBO (Daily Mirror) - Secretary of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Mohan de Silva has tendered his resignation.
The resignation comes in the wake of Sri Lanka's 302-run defeat to India in the Cricket World Cup, which caused huge public uproar.
It also led to Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe calling for the resignations of the incumbent SLC administration, with de Silva now the first domino to fall.
SLC on Friday called for an explanation from its coaches and selectors, to address four specific areas, including the team’s Strategy and Preparation, Team Selection, player performance and post-match analysis.
