The Sri Lanka Cricket Selectors have selected the following 15-member emerging squad to
take part in the tour to Japan.

During the tour, the Sri Lanka Emerging Team will play five T20 games against the Japan
National Cricket Team, which is an Associate Member of the ICC.

The team will leave for Japan this evening.

Not only Sinhala community but you also must be from Moratuwa as others can’t play. Also until and unless this SLC includes a bare number of Tamils and Muslim players don’t call it a national team. It looks like these buggers can’t find one each from these communities, How can we grow at this rate.

Play in Japan ??? What level of cricket is played in Japan to develop our young cricketers? Looks crazy and waste of resources. If you want to develop send to top cricket nations like Australia, India or England.., Common … Don’t tell me Japan very good to send our developing squad.
