Dambulla, Feb 17 (Daily Mirror) - The first T20 match of the three-match series between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan ended in a nail-biting finish, with Sri Lanka winning the match by 4 runs in Dambulla today.

Skipper Wanindu Hasaranga batted well as Sri Lanka scored 160/10.

In the chase, Afghanistan started well but Ibrahim Zadran's 67 runs weren't enough as Matheesha Pathirana's 4 wickets for 24 runs sealed the win for Sri Lanka by 4 runs.

SL Lower order should bat with some responsibility!! Everyone has to contribute coz it's a team game!!! You come to bat you got to asses the situation and bat, you can't say am a bowler therefore I don't need to score runs.

Although the match was a nail biting finish Our bowlers accomplished the task brilliantly Young Pathirana our fastest bowler didn’t allow Afaganishthan batsmen to settle and score runs easily. On the other hand we didn’t know as to why Binura was included in the squad instead of Madusanka. Further the captain Hasaranga batted really well showing his talent
