The Sri Lankan Rupee depreciated further against the US Dollar today.

The Rupee was selling at Rs 168.63 against the US Dollar today.

there are no exporters that is why ruppe goes down. The dolars earned by houemaids are spent on duty free luxuries for politicians and professionals who do not bring in even one dollar
