I am research scientist in America and I am just excited to read that the sun would be closest to Sri Lanka over Mallakam in Jaffna. It is my family village where my father was born and where I grew up as a school boy in Jaffna. Those days Mallakam had a District Court and a Magistrate Court ; and my father practiced there as a Lawyer and an acting Judge.

First of all, who gave out all these visas for the sun to come visit my country? Since it's already here, I guess we all have no choice but to make the best of it. Maybe we should all enroll in a cooking class together and learn how to make some perfect sunny-side up eggs.
