Colombo, August 26 (Daily Mirror) - Police have released a photograph of a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting at Pillayar Junction in the Gemunupura area of Sripura, which resulted in one fatality.

Police said the shooting was reported on August 16. Two men on a motorcycle had shot the man and fled the area.

Police have identified one of the suspects as Kande Lekamlage Gayan Sugathadasa, a resident of No. 87, Samarugama, Avissawella. His National Identity Card numbers are 850220751V and 198502200751.

The suspect is currently on the run, and police are seeking assistance from the public to locate him.
