Thailand Prime Minister arrives in Sri Lanka

Colombo, Feb 03 (PMD) - Prime Minister of Thailand Srettha Thavisin, arrived in the country a short while ago, the President’s Media Division said.

The Thai Prime Minister is accompanied by a distinguished delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai.

Upon their arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, the Thai delegation was received by Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, setting the tone for bilateral discussions and engagements.

The primary highlight of Prime Minister Thavisin's visit is his participation in Sri Lanka's 76th Independence Day ceremony, scheduled for tomorrow.
