Three army personnel arrested over assault on Keith Noyahr

Three army personnel including a major were arrested by the CID in connection with the abduction and assault on journalist Keith Noyahr in 2008, Police said.

They are to be produced in Mount Lavinia Magistrate’s Courts today.

Like every other case that happened during this period, most probably these guys don't even know the journalist. The question is whose orders were they following?I think most people know the answer including the CID, President and PM.

Whether they fought well during the war or even recognized as war heroes do not matter. If they were responsible for any criminal act, they should be punished. JO, JVP etc should understand this.

Very likely same story. Arrest remand given bail case will take three years !! Meantime very high ups will call for non harrassment of Forces personnel.
