Three flights diverted to India and MRIA
Three, Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA),Katunayake bound flights were diverted to the Cochin airport and Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA) last night and this morning due to the bad weather condition over the Katunayake area.
A Jet airways flight arrived from Mumbai was diverted to the Cochin airport, India last night while another Malaysian flight was also diverted to Cochin.
Meanwhile, a Fly Dubai flight arrived from Dubai was diverted to the MIRA this morning.
