Three promising weightlifters will represent Sri Lanka at the Commonwealth Senior, Junior, and Youth Weightlifting Championships 2024 from September 17–24 in Suva, Fiji.

Over 300 weightlifters from almost 30 countries are taking part in this tournament.

The Sri Lanka Weightlifting Team includes Ashen Karunarathne of Wesley College (61 kg), Pasindu Malawana of the University of Colombo (81 kg), and Abidh Jameel of Trinity College (96 kg).
