Colombo ,September 19 (Daily Mirror) - A total of 500 employees were hospitalised this morning due to food poisoning after consuming food served at a private apparel factory in the Bakamuna area.

The employees had fallen ill after consuming the food served at their work place and were admitted to the Bakamuna Divisional Hospital.

Some patients have been transfer to the Attanakadawala Rural Hospital for further treatment reportedly due to a lack of space in the Bakamuna Divisional Hospital

Meanwhile, hospital sources stated that the patients admitted to Bakamuna and Attanakadawala hospitals are not in any serious conditions.
