The CSE just like the dollar peg is artificially held up high too many times. There is just too much bull/bull market talk, and not respecting that our economy is tanking a while now. The bubble of the CSE needs well more than a 50% correction. Since the dollar loan defaults the market should've been naturally in bear market territory, but somehow like the dollar peg everything is perfectly positive for rupee and the CSE. Looking forward to investing when the reality of economic situation finally comes into the CSE too.

The Sri Lanka stock market is funky. The country is bankrupt and the stock market is as bullish until a week ago.

Any reason for the sudden collapse or was it expected anyway?
