Train services on upcountry line restored



Colombo, June 14 (Daily Mirror) - Train services on the upcountry line between Talawakele and Watagoda have been restored after the derailment of an express train yesterday.

The control room said that the viewing compartment of the train was derailed at around 3.25 pm yesterday and the derailment was cleared at around 10 pm.

Accordingly, the Udarata Manike train left Badulla railway station for Colombo Fort at 5.55 am today.
