Train strike called off



Colombo, October 30 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lanka Railways Station Masters' Union (SLRSMU) has decided to call off their ongoing trade union strike as of 10 p.m tonight.

They said that with the conclusion of the strike, station masters will resume ticket issuance activities as usual from 10 p.m.

The SLRSMU launched the trade union action after discussions with the Transport Minister, responding to unresolved administrative issues within the Railways Department.
