Trains delayed on mainline this morning

Train services on the main line will be delayed due to the technical fault of a train that plies to Colombo Fort from Maho blocking the tracks this morning.

Additionally, another train has broken down between the Yaththalgoda and Ambepussa stations.

Yesterday evening a train from Colombo to Maho was derailed. Today, a train from Maho to Colombo has developed a technical fault obstructing all the other trains on the main line. In addition, another has broken down between Ambepussa and Yaththalgoda. What more will the CGR give us.

I used to really enjoy taking the train from Nuwara Eliya (Nanu Oya) to Negombo (Ragama). It was best in the private company's first class carriages. As long as the railway line has not been completely renewed and you can travel in comfortable first class carriages in a train that includes an up-to-date comfortable dining carriage in which alcoholic drinks and international food are also offered, I will refrain from using the railway .
