Treasury Secretary sends resignation to President

Treasury Secretary S.R. Atygalle has sent in his resignation letter to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa a short while ago.

His resignation comes at a time when the Finance Minister portfolio remains vaacant following the resignation of Ali Sabry in less than 24 hours as the Finance Minister.
