Six DIGs inducing Crimes DIG Kamal Silva and DIG in-charge of the North Western, Ajith Rohana, had been transferred with immediate effect based on service requirements, Police said.

They said three Superintendent of Police (SPs), two Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASPs), three Chief Inspectors (CI) and six Inspectors (IP) were also transferred.

The National Police Commission (NPC) approved the transfers recommended by IGP Pujith Jayasndara. (Darshana Sanjeewa)

Usuall duty requirements.all the years of thousands of transferes but nothing changed of all types of crimes.only happened is increasing crimes.pokice need able administrators from foriegn police servicess.

Why transfer .. Better retire so that another police officers can get bribes ,kampam , illegal activities for their extra income .
