Two Iranian Navy ships in Colombo

Colombo, Feb 16 (Daily Mirror) - The Iranian Navy Ship (IRINS) Bushehr and Tonb arrived at the port of Colombo on a formal visit this morning.

IRINS Bushehr is a 107 metre long ship manned by 270 crew members and is commanded by Commander Mahdi Balvardi. IRINS Tonb is a 94.94 metre long platform with a crew of 250. It is commanded by Commander Mohammed Haji Zadeh.

Meanwhile, the Commanding Officers of the ships are scheduled to call on Commander Western Naval Area and Director General Operations of the Sri Lanka Navy during their stay in the country.

In addition, naval personnel from both nations are anticipated to participate in various programmes aimed at fostering cooperation.

Moreover, Officer Cadets and personnel from the Sri Lanka Navy will visit the Iranian Navy Ships in Colombo, and reciprocally, Officer Cadets and personnel from the Iranian ships will visit Sri Lanka Navy ships. The duo of Iranian Navy ships are scheduled to depart the island on 19 February.

When Sri Lanka gained freedom from the British occupation in 1948, literacy in Sri Lanka was nearly 80%, literacy in India which also almost at the same time came out of British occupation was below 40%, and in Iran it was below 20%. The Sinhalese Politicians have simply wrecked Sri Lanka in the last 75 years.

Liberated from the SHACKLES of COLONIALISM!? On the contrary, we as Nation have progressed and achieved greater Heights Societal Well-Being to SURMOUNT “starvation” lately very successfully!? Sri Lanka Has survived by its OWN Logic, of all hues and Shades!! What Magnificent Country and Emancipated People??? Even though they are devoid or delinquent of Literacy!!???

You idiot, if you can’t read or write , possessing any natural intelligence or creativity is practically redundant. We Sri Lankans were at the top in literacy compared all of South Asia and Middle East, and now Iran is supplying technology to Sri Lanka .
