Two brothers drown while fishing in deep sea
Two youth from the same family drowned while they were fishing in deep sea on a multi-day fishing trawler.
The deceased Mahesh Wasantha (22) and Ramesh Susantha (18) were residents of Diganwela, Bingiriya.
They had gone on fishing with a group of people on September 9 from the Negombo harbour.
An official of the Fisheries Department said the fellow boats were engaged in search operations to locate the missing bodies. (Jude Samantha)
