Two flights diverted to BIA from Chennai Airport
Two flights, one Emirates and one Srilankan, scheduled to land at Chennai Airport had been diverted to Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this morning because of the impact of cyclone ‘Vardah’ in Chennai.
The Emirates flight had been on its way to Chennai from Dubai when it was diverted to BIA. The Srilankan flight had left from Colombo to reach Chennai. (T.K.G. Kapila)
