Colombo, July 7 (Daily Mirror) - Two persons including Surendra Wasantha Perera alias ’Club Wasantha’ were killed and several persons including singer K. Sujeewa have been hospitalised following a shooting at Oruwala Junction in Athurugiriya a short while ago, police said.

They said the injured were admitted to the Athurugiriya and Homagama hospitals.

Police said the shooting incident occurred when singer K. Sujeewa and others were attending the opening of a Tattoo Studio.

They said Club Wasantha's wife was also among the injured.

Meanwhile, hospital sources said that singer Sujeewa and another were transferred to the Colombo National Hospital for further treatment. 

They confirmed that Sujeewa sustained gunshot wounds to her legs.
