Two killed after canoe capsizes in Kinniya

Kinniya, Feb. 14 (Daily Mirror)- Two individuals who were fishing in the Upparu lagoon in Kinniya drowned after their canoe capsized, Police said.
Their bodies were recovered while floating on the lagoon today.
Police had launched a search operation after the relatives had complained that the two individuals who had gone fishing in the Upparu lagoon in a canoe the previous night had not returned.
Kinniya police are investigating into the incident.
