Galle, Jan 26 (Daily Mirror) - Two more suspects have been arrested on suspicion of aiding and abetting the shooting in Beliatta where five persons were killed.

Police said the two suspects were arrested by the Police Special Task Force at the Wanchawala area in Galle while also in possession of heroin.

Five persons, including the leader of the 'Ape Jan Bala Party', Saman Perera alias Royal Beach Saman, were killed in the shooting.

Police said the arrested suspects, aged 25 and 35, were identified as residents of Galle.

At the time of arrest, 09 grams and 300 milligrams of heroin, a motorcycle, three mobile phones and a knife were found in their possession.

The suspects have been handed over to the Galle Harbour Police Station for further investigations.

Police earlier arrested the main suspect in connection with the shooting and he was detained for further questioning.
