Two women killed, two injured in car tragedy at Hali-Ela

Badulla, April 14 (Daily Mirror)- Two women were killed and another two injured when a car veered off the road and crashed onto a tree at Hali-Ela on the Badulla-Bandarawela main road.

A group from the same family met with the tragedy while they were visiting a relative's house in Hali-Ela in view of the New Year.

The deceased are a 70-year-old woman and a 51-year-old woman from Dompe, Puwakwatte.

The 53-year-old father and a 22-year-old daughter have been admitted to the Badulla Teaching Hospital.
