UNP MP Maharoof and three others injured in accident
Trincomalee District UNP parliamentarian M. A. M. Maharoof and three others were injured following an accident at Pelwehera in Dambulla early this morning, Police said.
They said the jeep they were travelling in had crashed into the back of a lorry.
The son and the daughter of MP Maharoof were among the injured.
The injuered were admitted to the Dambulla Hospital. (Kanchana Kumara Ariyadasa)
