US welcomes Sri Lanka’s Debt Restructuring agreement

The United States Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Julie J. Chung, has expressed support for the final agreement on debt restructuring between Sri Lanka and its creditor nations.

The agreement was reached today on the sidelines of the Paris Forum 2024.

In a tweet, Ambassador Chung stated, "We welcome the news of a final agreement on debt restructuring between Sri Lanka and creditor nations, reached today on the sidelines of the Paris Forum 2024. This is a positive step forward in Sri Lanka’s economic recovery and resilience, helping build more confidence in Sri Lanka’s fiscal environment."

She emphasized the importance of continued reforms, encouraging Sri Lanka to adopt transparent and sustainable changes. "The U.S. encourages Sri Lanka to continue the reform process, adopting transparent and sustainable changes that foster long-term prosperity and growth," Chung added.

You are just encouraging them to be more corrupt. Till today, all the past and present corruption cases are not resolved. The solution is to take never ending loans and pay interest at the expense of the taxpayers. The average citizen is having a miserable existence at the expense of a few benefiting from these loans. Go about the country and see how people are struggling and most of the corrupt politicians having a ball of a time.

It will be a DREAM if the US continuously commands Sri Lanka of its CONSPIRACY THEORY, so it is imperative to get out of the US involvement in Sri Lanka to rebuild our economy. More than anything else, we are in an utmost need to chase IMF bastards out of Sri Lanka by repaying their bloody loan.
