Are we assuming too much without even knowing the agenda of the urgent meeting called by the president? In the present situation it is not necessary that we like the leader at the helm, good or bad, we did not have a choice. Try and imagine another person in place of RW and where will the country be now? Just like Sir Winston Churchill was needed to conduct a war, the people of the UK decided, the war is over and they needed a different leader. RW could lose but he has brought some stability to the country.

At this cabinet meeting all party members should insist Ranil to immediately appoint an acting IGP sothat the work towards Prez election could go on without delay and interruption. The more he delays could bring chaos in the Police ranks. In the absence of an IGP, criminals and murders will be rampant and we will see armed men carrying out their revenge killings etc. Prez should take this seriously and act promptly keeping the politics aside.
