Vaccination cards for those above 30, will be checked from Sept. 15
The government has decided to check the vaccination cards of those above 30 years, when they visit all public places, from September 15, Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said.
He said the decision was taken in the COVID meeting convened this morning with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
The government aims to fully vaccinate the targetted population by the first week of September.
As of now over 98 percent of the targetted population has received the first dose while nearly 30 percent has been offered both doses. (Sheain Fernandopulle)
