Wild elephants kill two in Kalmuna, Kebithigollewa
September 8 (Daily Mirror) - Two men, aged 61 and 68, were killed in separate wild elephant attacks in Kalmuna and Kebithigollewa, police said.
A resident of Thiriwalluwar lost his life after being attacked by a wild elephant near the Kalmuna bus stand. In another incident, a cyclist was fatally attacked by a wild elephant at the Kanchuttuwa cemetery in Kebithigollewa last evening.
Police are investigating into both incidents.
