Parliament, Colombo 17 (Daily Mirror) - Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said he will table all his education qualifications in the House tomorrow.

Premadasa was referring to a question raised by ruling party MPs who challenged the Opposition to prove their educational qualifications.

The Leader of the Opposition tabled the certificates of MP Kavinda Jayawardene, whose qualifications were questioned by the ruling party.

Bless him. Ask him whether he actually completed his degree in UK. Really did he go for lectures and sit for exams ? No comment ! I voted for Sajith ! The earlier govt was full of idiots who didn't even attend a University. Does this really matter ? Stop bickering over qualifications and mud slinging and get on developing the country. That is your prime purpose sitting in the house.

Hope the ruling party will also table their qualifications with documentary evidence. Best to clear this matter of little importance compared to the plethora of problems facing us.

Why should he do so? He has never or even any others never canvassed, promoted or what ever and never had any issues. It’s the new bunch who have done damage fooling the voters and certainly should be scrutinized. Those who have have entered parliament and also where they have been working.

Who said that we need to have academic qualifications to work as MPs or opposition leader or any PM or President? It is a political vindictive act to sabotage this government: What degree your father had ? What degree Srima had ? Both did well in their politics. How and why ? Getting mere qualifications does not give any credibility to any person unless those qualifications reflect in their skills snd talents : How many fake PhDs in our universities : those fake acadmeic destroy their future of our next generation but these politicians don’t bravery to question them and bring into book ? They are milking our education budget with false promotions and claims :

The outside world will be laughing at us that we are fighting over educational certificates. Why do people lie over a qualifications. Even if you lie, when you open your mouth people will get to know if you are a idiot or not!
