Will update on second jabs of AZ, 3rd week of July - Colombo Mayor
Colombo Mayor Rosy Senanayake, today said that all those who fall under the category of 55-69 years of age, and who had been vaccinated at a CMC center with AstraZeneca as their first dose, were requested to wait till 3rd week of July to receive an update on their second jabs.
Senanayake said the CMC will send a request to the phone numbers registered and an email was not required.
"If you have given a land number, we are in the process of creating a pathway to get your details more efficiently and we will communicate this through social media as soon as possible," Senanayake said.
"If you have not been vaccinated at CMC, you should inquire from your area MOH regarding the availability of vaccines," she added.
She said those below 55 years of age should wait for their turn as the CMC will be vaccinating everyone in batches after 3rd week of July.
"If you are a student waiting to depart the country, please register with https://alt.army.lk/covid19/ to get your vaccination," she added.
