Wimal to make submission in court over his security

MP Wimal Weerawansa today sought permission from the Colombo Fort Magistrate to deliver a statement from the dock over his security level at the Colombo Remand Prison and the injustice caused to him by FCID's inquiry over the misuse of state property.

No counsel appeared on his behalf today.

Subsequently, the Fort Magistrate permitted him to deliver his statement as a submission to the inquiry concisely. (Shehan Chamika Silva)

normally an accused is not allowed to speak to the judge directly ...in Sri Lanka..how come this judge lets him give a political speech we the people are told by black coat swindlers aka lawyers that a layman cannot speak or self represent in a court....I have self represented myself in a traffic court is USA and got the case filed by the cios dismissed... so I wonder why someone cannot self represent and let the j dge know of the peasants side of the story.....lawyers are also White collar criminals.....wont issue receipts n avoid paying the right amount as taxes... via DM Android App

Who said that he is an asset being suspicious of fraud ,so he is a liability until he is exonerated from his indictments of public money
