Woman stabbed to death near Kegalle HC

A woman was stabbed to death by her husband when she came to the Kegalle High Court today over a maintenance case, police said.

The incident has occurred near the court premises and the police said the suspect is a 40-year-old soldier.

The deceased was identified as Shamali Priyangika, a resident of Yatagama, Rambukkana. The suspect was arrested by the Kegalle police. (Rohan Kumara Dissanayake)
