Ajith Dias has been appointed the new Chairman of SriLankan Airlines replacing former Chairman Nishantha Wickramasinghe, Government Information Department said.

Mr. Dias, please take quick action to set fly of the Sri Lankan flights on time as prescribed in schedules. I faced 5 hours delay in Chennai for arriving of UL 0124 and it started from there at around 12.45 a.m and landed around 2.00 a.m. which, was scheduled at 10.35 p.m. People used to say UL means USUAL DELAY. However, wish you good luck!

I agree the name to be changed as Airlanka and the carrier should be free of political interference.If possible to consider become partner of Emirates again.
