Never used to hear such things in the past. Faith is what one follows to lead a good life harming none but purifying oneself. It's a far cry from a Dharmadveepaya now.

It's a good news, this is not a religious practice in Hinduism, it's only Black Magician's work. Most of the Hindu's are vegetarians. These animal sacrifices never heard in Hindu North India. use commen sense killing of an animal is bad, bad, bad. No any real God will approve this, only the deval will

I believe the animals sacrificed in Haj times are fed to the poor? Do the kovils cook and feed the meat to people or do they just throw away the carcasses? The priests who serve in kovils are brahmins who abhore the site of meat--- then why kill? When we kill for meat/ food, the question is about ethical sourcing of the meat. The problem here is about killing animals purely on faith. It's pointless killing. That's why it's wrong.

Yeah, Should band animal sacrifices at every where regardless of the religion. This is a very babarian practice. By the way someone shoul not mis understand, Meat and Polutary business has been recognized as a profession. If one want to eat meat, go to the butchers and buy. Some may argue that the out come is same. But the concept of animal sacrifice is inhuman and barberic.
