good move !!!! most people will take a casual or sick leave to enjoy a long weekend. in the GCC most holidays are shifted so that the people enjoy a long week end (e.g. th e prophet's birthday was to be mid week but all countries shifted it to the last working day of the week, so that bot parties do not lose out.
